Let's get Serious about Training our Dogs!
Positive reinforcement dog training is a highly effective and humane approach to training your dog or puppy. It involves rewarding desired behaviours to encourage their repetition, while avoiding punishment or aversive methods. The fundamental principle of positive reinforcement is to make the learning experience enjoyable and rewarding for both you and your dog.
Puppies learn more in their first 16 weeks of life than they will learn in their entire lifetime. I'll work with you
and your family to set you and your puppy up for a lifetime of success and fun! While we train dogs of all
ages, we prioritize puppies and adolescent dogs because they are at the highest risk of being re-homed
during their first 24 months of life.
There's a small window of huge opportunity...
96% of dogs who are relinquished to shelters, re-homed, or worse!
...have not received any obedience training.
